At Little Projector Shop, my goal is simple: keep the flicker alive and the frame advancing.
I’m a gal who’s been projecting 35mm and 16mm film since the late 1990s, drawn to the hum of the machine and the flicker of light through the lens. About a decade ago, I trained at the Selznick School for Film Preservation, deepening my understanding of how to care for film and the equipment that brings it to life.
As both an archivist and a projectionist, I work in that space between preservation and presentation, where protecting the film matters just as much as delivering a beautiful, steady show. Film isn’t just something to store away; it’s meant to be seen, heard, and experienced the way it was intended.
That same philosophy carries over to my workbench. Little Projector Shop specializes in the service and repair of small-gauge film projectors for collectors, archives, and home movie enthusiasts. Whether it’s a well-loved family projector or a rare piece of equipment, every machine gets careful, hands-on attention.
Because these aren’t just machines. They’re memory-keepers, storytellers, and a vital part of keeping analog film alive.
So dust off those cases, and let's get your projector running again.
